strange symbols on tridef 2d to 3d playback?

Post by metalrebel83 »

just booted up a movie to watch on tridef 2d to 3d playback n i'm a bit confused.the quality is excellent compared to anaglyph that i've watched so i'm dead pleased now with the monitor itself, its just that theres these strange symbols that pop up like subtitles as the movie is playing n i dunno how to switch em off.

any ideas guys?

they look like mathematical symbols that show up when ppl in movie are talkin at bottom of screen like subtitles that aren't decoding properly or something.

only happened on my copy of around the world in 80 days with jackie chan though so maybe theres a dodgy subtitle file in the folder that tridef doesn't like i dunno

Try installing the K-Lite mega-pack. That will give you the VFW options menu, and you should be able to enable/disable subtitles and things like that from there.
