David Letterman and brief anaglyph shots

I was sitting around watching letterman and all of a sudden I saw a set of glasses appear at the lower left hand corner of the screen. Dave reaches behind the desk and pulls out a pair of goggles. The screen "shifts" into anaglyph mode while Dave starts throwing pens at the camera man. Would have been cool if I had a pair of anaglyph glasses with me!
