I have to say, I'm not usually the guy writing reviews or ranting and raving about some new product. But in this case, I've found some 3D slide-show software that I feel hasn't been given the praise it deserves. While looking for various ways to entertain myself with my new display, I found a program called Truekat Show. This new software allows you to use 2d/3d images and video to create some pretty impressive slide-shows. 3D images are displayed in high-quality stereoscopic 3D, and those that can't be (2D images) are placed on a 3 dimensional backdrop that makes the 2D image appear as if they were floating on a picture frame in mid-air. The only issue I could see some people having with it (which I read in a review prior to purchasing) is that the program does not come pre-loaded with all of its available themes, some of the more recently released themes must be downloaded via the included updater (very simple to use by the way). If this is the only complaint I can come up with I consider this a great thing...to me this says that the developers wanted to make sure they had a solid working base before adding all the frills and such. New themes have even been added since my purchase so it appears they are actively providing new content. I'm not a 3D expert so I couldn't tell you how the software works or technical specifics, but I would assume that information is on the website if you know what you're looking for. What I can tell you is that the software is easy to install, easy to use, and from what I've seen, a very professional product overall.
