Hey All,
Recently I got my hands on two webcams mounted them next to each other and made a short 3D video. The "into the page" 3D effect looks pretty good, but I can't seem to get the "out of the page" effect to work very well. Is there some trick needed to making the objects jump off the screen? I can't seem to get it to look like a computer game or that nvidia demo.
Sincerely,
JAM
3d movie "out of the screen" effect question

With the two cammeras you are "making" two eyes, so you see like real, you see depth.
The pop-out you may get by crossing the eyes (left to right and vice veersa)
but you may aso invert th other depth things, so you get perspectivic errors.
May there is a way with an higher seperation of the cammeras and let them be a bit cross-eyed
