The net is vast and infinite. Can't expect to catch everything when it comes out.Johnny-Mnemonic wrote:OMG this is so old!

You mentioned you're planning to build your own HMD using pico projectors. Is there a thread for that? There are no HD pico projectors available yet, right? How would 3D work? Would it have to be passive?

Okay cybereality, Just make shure when you reveal it, you do it on a "vast and infinite" scale so we don't miss it...LOLcybereality wrote: The net is vast and infinite. Can't expect to catch everything when it comes out.

There are actually a couple options now available to play with, unfortunately I dont have the cash to test with.Vip's displayer and theatre boxes both supposedly let you run stereo on an lcd panel, although at 60 hz. There are confirmed reports of this working on lcd projectors, Im waiting to see more reviews. If it works you could use this and fresnel.Aphradonis wrote:You mentioned you're planning to build your own HMD using pico projectors. Is there a thread for that? And what I think is perfect is Viviteks Qumi pico is being released soon. 720p, 300 lumen, and dlp link at 120hz.
