Newegg now sells the iz3d monitor

It should help since all the geeks and lots of users are buying monitors and hardware on newegg.

That's really good news as I've been waiting and searching NewEgg for this. A lot of people shop the Egg and it's good to see a viable 3D solution at a big etailer. The price is much more reasonable too.

Now I wonder if we'll ever see the monitor at Best Buy

Wow, at that price it should be a clear price/performance win over the 22" Zalman.

Too bad for me NewEgg doesn't ship internationally.

All made possible by them looking to sell drivers AND displays. If you can sell more drivers, then you can effectively drop the price of your displays. A win/win situation for both the company and the end user!

prices are getting interesting.. that price and a cheap shipping to europe and I'll get one^^

edit: btw I asked a german online shop to get this monitor into their assortment (as it seems iZ3D is willing not to sell exclusively anymore). That shop got the Zalman for sale aswell, so they might be interested^^

Where? Could you give a link? Is it such a great price, like the above, or just the same in € like in $? --> 700$ = 700€?

@Luke: guess you missunderstood that. They don't have it right now. But I asked them to get it.

I bought my iZ3D monitor on 1/30/08 (2 weeks ago) and wrote them about this NewEgg price. They are not price matching but they did offer me some money back which I accepted. I could have sent the monitor back and bought it off NewEgg but after shipping costs back to iZ3D the cost delta is not worth it to me. Also I do want them to make some profit so they can keep making and improving their products, so I am happy.

I don't know how long ago you bought your monitor but it doesn't hurt to ask them about it.
