Vuzix finally updated they're drivers for VR920, and (surprise) Wrap920 too, which seems make Wrap series compatible for stereo gaming too.
They've add bunch of games for support, updated they're DirectX driver and publish generic Vuzix OpenGL stereo driver.
So, as far as I can see it's the biggest software update for VR920 up to date.
Many of you guys have VR920 or Wrap920, but don't visit Vuzix forum much, so I've decided to bring this news here!
Software is now called "Vuzix VR Manager" and can be downloaded here: http://www.vuzix.com/support/downloads_drivers.html
Oculus Rift, Vuzix Wrap 920 AR!, Vuzix VR920, Liquid Image MRG 2.2, Razer Hydra, P5 Glove, Microsoft Kinect, TrackIR5, 2 x Hillcrest Labs Freespace tracker, Fujifilm finepix real 3d w3, GeForce 9800GT 1Gb, GeForce GT 430 1Gb, DELL XPS 17 l702x with GeForce 555 GT 3Gb, and good-old VFX1 setup
Cyber, let me know how these work! My VR920 is of course in a state of total disrepair, I was in the middle of making a mono HMD with it... But this really makes me want to put it back in a working stereo state! 64 bit support, yay!
I wonder if this means anything? Seems odd for them to put so much effort into an old product that they have previously shown very little interest in providing updates or support for.
