DiY 3d projector stand, or cheap one?

Post by Shilar »

Anyone care to help me further? I'm looking for a cheap 3D projector stand, either to buy or make. Anything under $200 would be nice.

This is the lowest I can find: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5 ... ector.html

I would definitely diy for this one. I got ideas from looking at http://www.hardsteal.com/av_cage_new.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I would use the metal bars with the holes in them (don't know exactly what they are called but you can see what I mean in the link) to build my own cage. Then it is just a matter of adding any features you may desire like a locking mechanism or maybe a joint that allows for tilting the entire mount. Another site with some good info is http://vjkungfu.com/archive/build-projector-mount/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .
"Who has ever torn himself from the claw that encloses you when you drop a seed in a TV parlor? It grows you any shape it wishes! It is an environment as real as the world. It becomes and is the truth. Books can be beaten down with reason. But with all my knowledge and scepticism, I have never been able to argue with a one-hundred-piece symphony orchestra, full colour, three dimensions, and I being in and part of those incredible parlors."
