Old games work best in stereoscopic 3D, are most affordable, and anyone can play them on their graphics card without worrying about frame rates. Stereoscopic 3D gives them a new lease on life.

I'm a big retro gamer, I could probably post a bunch. I recently got Carmageddon with the 3DFX patch (DOS game) working in stereoscopic with a Glide wrapper. It's not so great because the horizon is the wrong depth and the pedestrians seem off, but otherwise it's not bad.
