3D Helmet compatible with iz3D Stereo Driver
Is there any 3D Helmet available which is compatible with iz3d driver and has high resolution (like 1024 or above) I used to have the z800 but was disappointed about the nvidia driver. I'm no using the iz3d monitor i am very happy with the gamesupport but want something which puts me more inside and has no ghosting.

Well the 720p model would be perfect.
But where to order?? It seems it is not available yet.
What do you mean with "maybe" are your drivers working on this or in not. Are there issues??

Oh yes the idea is great, however it seems it is not available and won't be available in near future. Are there any alternatives?

If I'm not mistaken you can use the VR920 with the IZ3D driver.

It's not yet available. It says preorder now, and no price is given.

Still no 3D Helmets.
Has anyone thought of building such a device on it's own? Maybe mod existing 2D glasses?!?
Damn I want such a helmet so badly with these requirements
good gamesupport like iz3d driver
minimum resolution of 1024x768
resasonable fied of view

Unfortunately no one seems to be interested in this market. The only major player at the moment, Vuzix, has mostly crap for sale. There is not a high-res, high-FOV headset in sight. I don't know why people are sleeping on this market.

Re: 3D Helmet compatible with iz3D Stereo Driver
You can find HMD that match your preferences only on professional VR market.
For example Virtual Research VR1280 with 1280 x 1024 resolution, 60 degree diagonal FOV, high contrast and with great colors.
Also you can adjust everything in this helmet: IPD, diopters per-eye, etc...
It feeds video from two different video-inputs, so I think it will be compatible with iZ3D driver.
You can check more details here:
http://www.inition.co.uk/inition/produc ... bCatID_=16
http://www.virtualresearch.com/products/vr1280.htm
Only minor point - it's price: 16k $
And I can tell you it's not highest price on market.
