I'm wondering if there are other glasses compatible with Geforce 3D Vision. I'm not talking about hacking it to avlid using the 3D Vision kit - rather using their emitter and other glasses.

Are Crystal Eyes, XpanD or other glasses that work with the NVidia emitter?

Currently, no other glasses work directly with Nvidia's emitter.

Now, if you have a 3D-Ready DLP display, you can use shutter glasses with DLP-Link technology with Nvidia, since they don't need an emitter.

That is sad. We are using a CRT projector which works suprisingly well at 720p@120Hz - but my seven year old can not wear the NVidia glasses comfortably. I was hoping to look for alternatives. Guess I'll have to look into modifying the NVidia glasses to make them fit better.

Sadly this is what happens when one company has a monopoly...

I think some of the Xpand models are compatible with DLP link so if you are using a projector then this may be an option for you.

I use this dongle to run my Elsa Revelator IR with Nvidia 3D Vision: http://www.int03.co.uk/crema/hardware/stereo/
The 3D Vision dongle is just needed for the driver support.

So far as I know, no glasses will work with NVIDIA emitter, but you can build you own emitter yourself.
