XP64 workaround :)

Post by pluMmet »

I've got XP64 and I'm able to play Oblivion on my iz3D 22"

The 1.02 drivers iZ3Dwrapper9.dll file must be renamed d3d9.dll then along with the profile.txt must be dropped into the same folder as the Oblivion .exe.

You can update the drivers to 1.05 after but the 1.02 wrapper is still the one you use in the Oblivion folder.

If anyone else can use this workaround on another game please post because it doesn't work with all games and a list of games it works with would be great!

wow cool! how the hell did you discover that?!!?

you could write a detailed "how to" in the do it yourself section.. if more people have succes with it i put it sticky there.. :)

Jamie Hyneman: "It's really cool, but really unusual."
