YUP, not sure if this all it's hyped up to be. They are claiming 4k resolution, but it's probably a VA monitor. the 39" size is interesting, its definitely what 3d immersion needs, the larger size. Still, the immersion of glass free can be as good as stereoscoptic active glasses? The pricing as well, knowing samsung they will overprice it by 500 bucks, and immediately reduce prices once sales slow down.

I'm still eyeing to get a oled monitor in a LG 2024 GS model 39" or 45" ultrawide screen for 3d vision edid override. Doing smaller sizes just not worth it for 3d, but having a backlight strobing monitor such that of an lcd will help with the 3d effect and motion clarity over oled. An oled with BFI would be awesome in 32inch size.

There are some fast IPS monitors that could be able do 3d vision, but they only come in 27 inch sizes.

I'm not hyped for the samsung 3d monitors, especially if they are trying to sell them for over 1000 dollars. Sorry, I'd go oled all day over that. Glass free 3d oled would be awesome, but it's probably going to be really expensive considering 4k 32inch are over 1 thousand dollar still.

They are finally releasing it in 2025. AI enhanced and hopefully the 3D is good. Going to be very expensive, but not insane pricing like a professional 3D display.

are we sure it's a stereoscopic view ??
there are no mention about stereoscopy, it looks more like an head tracking that rotates the scene accordingly....
