Vista-32v64 and DX10vDX9

Post by Dgephri »

When I first got my iZ3D I had Vista-64 installed, and prior to my LAN, had to revert to XP-32 for this and another reason.

I just want to confirm that some are actually using the iZ3D 22", driver 1.05, DX9 game features, and 8800GTXs or better?

BioShock working? But no DX10 features?
World in Conflict working? But no DX10 features?
Call of Juarez? Anybody tested it yet?

Does the DX9vDX10 question simply mean you can't turn on those feature? Or is there some part of the Vista setup that makes it "stick" in DX9 mode?

If I can go with Vista-32 my BD drive will work as well...

hi! i have vista 32 bit ulitmate and a 8800gts. so you shouldn't have any problems with it. dx 10 does not work at the moment, so if you turn it on you will probably not get any 3D effect or a crash. never tried so don't know.

the games you listed should all work without poblems, bioshock and world in conflict for shure, i tested them. and the call of juared, i don'T know but i think yes.

bye

thanks Sharky. I knew some were using V-32 with it already.

Did a lot of research on V-64, only to have it be a problem with two of my most important pieces of hardware.

BluRay and iZ3D.

To get everything working, I had to settle on the face that I'm not using all 4Gig of RAM I got, and resolve myself to waiting on DX10 issues.

In the meantime, I have a great system, a great display, and I am loving GW and WIC in 3D!

same problem here.. only 3.3 gb recognized on my asus p5n32 e-sli.

but everything is working with the monitor..

it is important that you set gaem AND drivers to adiministrator!

else you could have problems.
