I'll probably be re-launching my website in the coming months so I will have full-quality downloads at that time.

Wow, I guess it's pretty easy to convert the Vado video format the way you whip those videos out!
Thanks and great work!

wow great videos, the 3D is well adjusted. The 3 Frogs are cool, sitting there and wotching the humans watching them The Frog video also has the best 3D effect (all the leaves pointing from depth towards you) The museum seems to be quite big. Can you see everything in one day?

There were also a lot of areas I went to that were really cool, unfortunately they were really dark so I couldn't get suitable footage with the Vados. I will probably go back another time and take some more footage. @WheatstoneHolmes: Yeah, the AVI format the VADO uses turns out to be really easy to work with. Even on my laptop its not much of a problem to process the video. The real life-saver is Virtual Dub, which can edit and save AVI files without re-compressing them (so I can edit down like a 10 minute clip with only like 1 minute of processing time). The bulk of the time is really just combining the views in StereoMovie Maker.

Ok I have two final clips from the set: AMNH T-Rex Bones in Stereo 3D (YT3D)AMNH Dinosaur Bones in Stereo 3D (YT3D)Also, I realized I was making a mistake that caused some of the videos to be off-sync. I thought the "direct stream copy" was my savior but its not. The problem is that it does not slice the video exactly but it snaps to the nearest keyframe (since its not re-encoding the video). It just happened that some of the videos were exactly in sync (to the frame) so it was ok. But if its off sync then it will stay off-sync once edited by anywhere from around 5-10 frames or more. So it is necessary to do the "full processing mode" which takes a great deal longer but maintains the sync. So these last two videos are probably the best quality in that respect. Stay tuned for more YT3D footage, gonna do some shooting this weekend.

Cool! You could try setting the thread priorty on VDub to "Highest" if you haven't done so already.
