Neil at CES (vampire pop-out version)

I tried to do Neil in 3D but, as I've said before, I'm really bad at doing human faces.
I took a picture that shows Neil at CES and tried to convert it. I'm posting the original 2D picture and the 3D transformation. The vampire style inspiration came from remembering the picture Neil posted of himself last halloween. When I look at the two pictures, I see that I'm really bad at keeping the original head shape. I push too much stuff from the surrounding of the face and that causes some part of the hair and ears to disappear.
