Do the bundled iz3d drivers require activation?
I was wondering: Do the drivers that come bundled with an iz3d monitor (not purchased online) require online activation? I don't purchase products that have DRM that requires online activation (such as Spore) on principle. After all, any company could go under at any time, making your valuable purchase uninstallable and worthless. So while I'm eagerly awaiting the 26" model, I need to know this before I can consider buying the product.

The iz3d and anaglyph option is always free. If you buy an iz3d there are always free drivers.

That's great to hear. Now bring on the 26" monitors with the new glasses, at a reasonable price!

Correct, and there is no DRM on those 2 outputs. They detect the iZ3D Monitor and will work.Likay wrote:The iz3d and anaglyph option is always free. If you buy an iz3d there are always free drivers.
There is online activation for our other outputs though, since that is the only way to do it.
