Hi all, I've using iZ3D driver 1.09 with Forceware 180.84, newer game like Tomb Raider Underworld and Prince of Persia, even older games like Witcher, Gothic 3 work under anaglyph mode. However older game like Jane's WW2F does not work with anaglyph mode, hitting NUM * doesn't do anything. Is there a way to make this game work in S3D ? Could it be the Direct X used for this game is just too old to be compatible ? Thanks all and happy holidays!

If it is DX7 or lower, it won't work. Do you know what DX version is being used?

Regards,
Neil

Maybe not.

If you can handle a dual boot, you can install the old NVIDIA 9X.XX series Forceware and stereo drivers, and run the game based on the Neurok Optics stereo profile.

Neil

Yep this is a fall back plan I had as well though it's a pain in the behind. I still got the 7900GS and I can reinstall it with older Nvidia stereo pair drivers. Thanks for the quick helps. D.R.

Ps: You also need to run winxp to run older nvidiastereodrivers with that 7900GT. They work with anaglyph as well as neurok (iz3d).

Cheers

Both of you mentioned neurok, could you elaborate since I'm not familiar with it. Thanks.

There's a stereooption in older nvidiastereodrivers called "NeurOk 3D" or similar. This is an algorithm for the iz3d monitor. It suits only the iz3d-monitor though.

I don't have iz3d monitor yet, sorry that's not clear in my post.
My stereo setup:

24" LCD
WinXP, Forceware 180.84, iZ3D driver in optimized anaglyph mode, anaglyph glasses
8800GTS

OR

21" CRT
WinXP, Nvidia stereo pairs 180.84 and 162.50, shutterglasses
8800GTS (or for older games a 7900GS in the wing)

The 7900 and older drivers are fine for shutterglasses if you want to use those. Anaglyph is of course also there in older drivers.
