Any version after 9.06 crashes every game, a few seconds into the game with a fatal error. If I copy d3dx.ini, d3dx_user.ini and d3dxdm.ini from a working 9.06 installation to the 9.12 installation, the fatal error will not happen, 3D starts but is basically a 3D image without any depth.
Not sure what the issue with >9.06 is but with at least the latest DCH drivers which I use, I cannot get any game to run properly.

While playing Evil West with Losti's great UE4 fix (geo-11 version), I encountered some one-eyed black flashing ground texture in several game locations. Update: the game started crashing after adding this line, so I removed the instruction. The flashing textures returned, but the game stabilized.
I switched to Migoto version of fix, and the texture problems have not returned.

Anyone have any news ? The publications concerning the UE4 fix on helixmod have all disappeared and all the losti fixes that I tried to download are no longer accessible.

Just speculating, but perhaps Losti feels undervalued by this community? We provide lots of feedback about issues, but little praise for his (and other fixer’s) monumental work. Perhaps he is following bo3b’s unknown trail…

I hope he is OK, along with his marriage, but this does seem petty. Flugan is the only other one to do such a thing.
I imagine other shaderhackers/coders that devoted time to help him, must be pretty disappointed if this is the end result.

I was so happy seeing 3D technology would return this year after CES, but now I'm super sad just hope Losti will return again or maybe recreate a web-place where we can use again of his classy UE fix.

I have already last year largely separated from my ShaderHacking work, as you may have noticed. The whole thing has different reasons and certain posts and "jokes" have then brought the barrel to overflow.
I sincerely apologize to you for this and also to Bo3B who now "must" restore all the HelixModBlog posts. Largely done, I think the links will work again in the next few days. This UE4-UF post I reworked a bit and it is online again. You can find the link to the UF in the attachment in the initial post.

any chance to get this also working with Q.U.B.E 2 ?
I tried installing according to your instructions. I'm using Helixmod to install and activate 3D Vision driver. As soon as I activated the 3D Vision driver, I get an error message "connection to 3D device lost" when starting the game.
When I deactivate the 3D vision driver, the game starts successful, shows the main menu/help of your MOD, but it's only a flat image (no stereoscopic vision).

Tried UF9.12 with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Unfortunately, both Migoto and geo-11 versions have an issue with shadows (everything else looks OK). The geo-11 version requires edit of d3dx.ini to set rasterizer.disable_scissor = 0, in order to see all menu text.

Losti's great UF V9.12 continues to support some new UE4 games very well. Deliver Us Mars (geo-11 mode), see https://store.steampowered.com/app/1345 ... r_Us_Mars/,works well with the fix. I had to add "stereo_compute_enable = 2" to d3dxdm.ini to eliminate some flashing intermediate-depth textures. The game's predecessor, Deliver Us The Moon, see https://store.steampowered.com/app/4286 ... _The_Moon/, also works well with the fix (no mod needed, so far).

Trying to figure out if this is a game issue or the fix issue. Just tried the new System Shock demo with the latest U4 fix. Game looks and runs great using the Geo-11 version. However the game randomly crashes and gives a pop-up window about a render error and to check if my video card has enough memory. I'm sorry I did not capture the error.
If this seems like an error related to the Fix I can get more details.
I am running a RTX 2060 6GB w/425.31 drivers.

I tried the demo, and everything worked fine for me, using geo-11 and 3080Ti with 526.98 driver, as well as using Migoto with my 2080Ti with 425.31. The city flythrough is great. I got stuck in apartment, and could not find a way to leave. I was a little disappointed with some of the low texture resolution/low polygon assets used inside the apartment, however. Thanks. It might be my system then. Maybe some type of memory leak with the demo and since my card has less memory than yours mine is more prone to the crash? It was rare though as I could sometimes play a few hours before it happened. I know not 3d related so I apolgize for posting this here but I just found my System is set with the Windows paging file disabled for all but one of my drives including the OS drive.

One drive is M2 SSD
One drive is external HDD
One drive is HDD with SSD cache (hybrid)
Not sure why it is set this way but should I enable page files for all my drives?

Returnal (see https://store.steampowered.com/app/1649240/Returnal/) appears to be another game that Losti's incredible UE4 UF V9.12 supports. Just started playing, using geo-11 version of fix. Thank you, Losti! I have been waiting for the ability to play this game in glorious 3D ever since it first released.
Update: My only successful 3D gameplay was during my first brief testing of the fix. I have not been able to start the game again with the fix installed/reinstalled without getting an undefined error and game crash. Note that this game has an unusual crosslink to Epic Online Services(?), and I believe that the Epic interaction might be interfering with the fix.

A post in the Steam discussions for Returnal suggest that EOS is for online co-op and links to a step by step guide to disable it.
FWIW, I use simplewall for easy blocking of various programs from accessing the internet, it has limited blocking capabilities, but does the job for what I need. It's much better than the convoluted method my anti-virus provides.
Also, in discussions, there are 2D players that successfully played the game initially, but could not play/launch the game a 2nd time. One person suggested that he used the -nosound command to get past the issue.
If this is the case, I had this issue in another game and was able to remedy it by selecting a lower kHZ sample rate until a patch by the devs resolved it. Dunno GL

Thanks, DMan/3DNovice! Using Windows, I uninstalled EOS. Returnal has not forced reinstallation of EOS, and Losti's fix is working reliably now. Some minor rendering issues with some small objects like leaves, but the game looks very good overall. I must disable HDR every time I start the game, even though it is disabled in the GameUserSettings.ini configuration file (HDR offers no significant visual improvement when enabled, with my current E6 settings).

I'm fixing the game . I've already fixed some shaders and a bunch of one-eye issues. I'll post the fix when I consider it ready. Which, looking at the supposed length of the game, could be in two or three weeks, maybe (I'm doing other stuff at the same time).

But it's not 100% sure that it's going to be Dx11. Although I have an intuition that since it's a game that comes from Ps4 base, it can happen like with GOW that only had Dx11 and it's a 3D spectacle.
By the way, what graphics engine will The Last Of Us use on PC? I guess it is the same as Uncharted 4, no?

But if you are right that if Uncharted and The Last Of Us had the same graphics engine and will come directly with DX12 and not with DX11.
I was hoping because of how old the game was that it would come out only in DX11 and this way it would have a better chance of being a 3DVision quality game.

But I smell that since we haven't FIX 3D for Uncharted 4 to date, it's because it's DX12 and very complicated to make.

Scars Above (see https://store.steampowered.com/app/1196090/Scars_Above/) seems to work well with Losti's world-class V9.12 fix (only played a couple of minutes). Tested with geo-11 mode.

The Last of Us is very likely DX12, so Superdepth is at the moment the only Way then, i play atm Hogwarts with that, and its great, there is even a Profile Blue(Superdepth maker) has already made...
@Bazza As i read other Posts from you, youll have to understand that there is no wrapper for DX12, and as mentiond at the helixmod geo11 post, a DX12 Wrapper are an heavily effort that takes much Time and the right Guys, its so much work like 3D Migoto+Geo11 in therms of development Time. And even there will be an DX12 Wrapper, every Game itself need a Shaderhacker who invest 100+ Hours to fix that Game, with probably other Techniques as in the 3D migoto Wrapper, because DX12 as low level api needs shurely other approches, but dunno...
What i know, and btt, ATOMIC HEART is amazing with the Universal Fix...Great Game
