Hi. I can't found download link for new version 0.6.64 of geo-11. Is anybody know it github link to download or other places. I'd like to download clean geo-11 instead of getting it from fixes

oh, good to know. Can you post some screenshots? I remember there were minor issues (but without geo11), I guess those were shaders so they'll remain, but I'm curious. Also, what FPS are you getting and what GPU do you have/res do you play at? thx

RTX3080 Samsung Odyssey@200SS 90FPS.
Sorry I play in VR with vr-screen-cap it's an openxr app I don't know how to cap the screen.
I used Unity 2019 universal fix without edit the StereoFlagsDX10=0x0005008. I can't see any issues. The 3D effect of this game is SO good!!

Important update that can help with issues in modes next to DX11/DX9 and other strange things in games you have had with versions before. Its worth to try if you have had some issues with GEO11 in some games you dont have had in migoto as well. :woot

Thanks for that Losti. Pinball FX3 is still unplayable with geo-11 0.6.84 (32 bit) (works fine with migoto). The tables are not visible with Geo-11 installed.

You can try to set new stereo compute than the default one thats set if undefined and try in games with issues. Just install the fix and than open d3dxdm.ini. Here you search for "dm_auto_convergence_compute = 1" (w/o ""). below this entry, add the following withou quotes: "stereo_compute_enable = 2". Its possible that you run into some mono rendering of other things, may be not so its worth to try.

Thanks for that. I tried your suggestion but the tables still don't seem to appear. You see the background but the table is completely missing. I tried playing with convergence to see if they appear but no luck unfortunately. Thanks for the tip anyway, was worth a shot :)

I, too, could not get Pinball fx3 to work, however, I did get a few games with texture issues working that use the UE4 universal fix by adding the above 2 lines to to the d3dxdm.ini as per Losti's suggestion. I was also wondering if there has been any progress with native 3d games such as Tombraider and Batman Arkham City that have the low quality texture bug.

Its not an issue with the interface as such and does not happen with 3DMigoto 3D FIX, only with geo-11 added to the mix. As a result, I am playing Pinball FX3 (Free to play) on my 1080ti machine with 3DMigoto fix. Wanted to play it on my 3080 machine with geo-11 SBS/TAB. I also note Arkham Asylum still has its texture issue with this latest geo-11 version.

V9.12 geo-11 version (Top and Bottom mode, with 0.6.84 dlls) has been working SUPERBLY with Midnight Suns. I tried using just 0.6.90 dlls, and dlls with ShaderFixes folder contents with Midnight Suns, but the game launched with black game screen, SBS mode, and shader hunting enabled. When I swapped just .dll files and ran the new version, I had to uninstall the UE4 fix before I could get good 3D display again. I could not simply restore the 0.6.84 dlls, because the game was locked in SBS mode, with black game content, and hunting enabled.
Dual boot VR/3D Vision disk partitioning (multiple SSDs). 3D Vision - Windows 10 v1809, 425.31 driver, 32 GB, i9-9900X@4.5 GHz, hybrid-cooled 2080Ti, 4K LG E6 OLED TV with EDID. VR/geo-11 - 3080Ti with Vive Pro 2, also have Aero, wireless lens-modified Vive Pro, Index, Reverb G2, Pimax 8K.

I tried pinball FX3 again. Same issues. Table completely invisible. Works fine with just 3dmigoto.

I dont know what you are doing but this all sounds like you mixup things in the wrong way. In any case of an update of GEO11 you are FORCED to uninstall the old fix completely. This is mendatory! Than copy over the fix you want, e.g. UE4-UF2 and before you starting anything there, copy in ONLY the dlls from a new GEO11 version. NOTHING MORE, no ShaderFixes folder and no INI!!! Copy the new DLLS to the folder you have installed the fix and overwrite existing ones. In Addition to the dlls in the main fix, for UE4-UF2 you need to copy the DLLS ALSO to ShaderFixes\Geo11. Than make sure you set "upscaling = 1" in d3dx.ini, as well as "force_stereo=2". Alternatively you can use the 0000_Start_GEO11.cmd in case of the UE4-UF2 to set this up for you. You also should make sure that in case of a NOT UE4-UF2 you change the "get_resolution_from = swap_chain" to "get_resolution_from = large_2d_depth_stencil_if_swap_chain_native" OR the new more compatible setting is "get_resolution_from = depth_buffer_detection". You find "get_resolution_from" in d3dx.ini. In case of the UE4-UF2 this is done in d3dxdm.ini if you are using the 0000_Start_GEO11.cmd but with "get_resolution_from = large_2d_depth_stencil_if_swap_chain_native". You can comment this again and uncomment the "get_resolution_from = depth_buffer_detection" there.

For games crashing on launch or having black screen issues, its woth to try some of this 2 options. Those needs to be in the [DEVICE] section of d3dx.ini or d3dxdm.ini. The UE4-UF2 has this stored and uncommented in d3dxdm.ini

fake_back_buffer_mode = 1 or 2


@BazzaLB:

If Migoto works, than we have a different stereo resource handling here in geo11. May some resources needs mono or stereo.

You can at first try stereo_compute_enable = 0 / 1 / 2 / and 3 and see what happens. This setting is at -1 in d3dx.ini with the UE4-UF2. In the same Section you can see surface_createmode and square_surface_createmode. You can experiment wit this, the options are written there. I suggest testing 0-8 for surface_createmode, and than if nothing changes to OK for the tables, do the same with square_surface_createmode. If there is any setting that fixes transparency, please let me know. You can also try of there is an issue with shader-regex translation in geo11 by setting hunting=0 in d3dx.ini and in game hold down F9. You can now see the unfixed state, let me know if the tables are back visible.
You can also try to set apply_transform_with_stereo_dsv_only=1 to apply_transform_with_stereo_dsv_only=0 in d3dxdm.ini and see what happens. In any case you need to exit the game and start again for any change you make and you want to try.
May be an option here is additional_excluded_game_res_aspect_ratios = 0 set to additional_excluded_game_res_aspect_ratios = 1 and or stereo_aspect_ratio_restrict_to_game_res = 1 set to 0.

Whoah, thanks for the detailed feedback Losti, much appreciated. Its not an UE4 game but I will try these settings you suggest. Thanks again!

Edit: I tried the suggested settings but they didnt seem to make the tables appear, however I did add the following into d3dxdm.ini and that made the tables/intros appear although they were corrupted (flashing glitches). So far its the only thing I tried that made the tables appear.

"fake_back_buffer_mode = 2"

Seems like like buffer issue

Unfortunately, I get the same result when attempting to adopt your suggested actions. Midnight Suns uses your superb UE4-UF2 fix. Note that ShaderFixes\Geo11 folder did NOT previously have the 3 geo-11 dll files before adding them, per your suggestion. I changed upscaling to 1 (it was set to 0 by Start_GEO11.cmd), and I changed to "get_resolution_from = depth_buffer_detection". I could not find "fake_back_buffer_mode = 1 or 2" in d3dxdm.ini to uncomment. I could add the line, but the game would still be SBS mode (wrong mode), and shader hunting would still be enabled.

I noticed that this is not a UE4 game and the fix is completely broken, because of some very outdated RegEx not working with the latest things.

So what issue do you have currently or dont u use the heliix blog fix ?

I am using Helix Blog fix which works perfectly without Geo-11. But if I add geo-11 into the mix then when the game wants to load the table (and associated cut scenes), they are not visible and you just see the background graphics and UI only. The only way I got it to show is to add that "fake_back_buffer_mode=2" but they are corrupted.

Without geo-11 its perfectly fine (with helix blog fix) as far as I can tell (as I run it this way on my 1080ti machine with driver 452). Once I add in geo-11.. then I have the issue. Yes, its not a UE4 game. It has its own engine. Its free to play though (although I have bought loads of extra tables).

I was planning to move this to my 3080 machine, but can't at the moment due to Geo-11 issue. This and Arkham Knight are the only 2 3D titles I have yet to move to my 3080 machine using Geo-11 due to issues.

For anyone who is interested. 0.6.90 geo-11 fixed the low resolution textures that appeared after a few minutes of gameplay in Arkham Knight. It now seems to work perfectly for me in 0.6.90 geo-11 SBS/TAB mode. Great job there.

!!! Geo11 0.6.90 - BUG !!!
This version doesn't generate a 3D-Stereo-Profile, when a game is started the first time! 3D-Vision won't work.
You need to copy 0.6.56 first and start the game. When the UAC promt for rundll32 appears, click yes. 3D-Vision will now work for the game.
After that you can copy the geo11 0.6.90 and run the game with the newer version.

I stumbled across this after a clean driver install. Tested/problematic game was KENA.

Has anyone got Tombraider 2013 to work with the latest Geo-11. Its a native 3d vision title, but for me it only renders in one eye still and I cant select 3d stereo in game which would get it to work, I think. I have to select it in game when running normal 3D vision without geo-11.

If it is really the geo-11 driver which updates the 3D-Stereo-Profiles, then there might be even other (beta) versions of geo-11 which have this bug. I now believe, that this is the main reason, why I have trouble getting Losti's UE4-UF2 to work correctly lately. I never get this rundll32 request with UE4-UF2 after v9.06 and basically no games work for me with the latest versions... I might try your workaround if I have time. Thanks

Why not simply starting the game with MIGOTO the first time :-)
