If you simply use the config tool that's recommended you can skip the -dx11 thing for every game. Ids done within the script. After running the config tool once for a game, you also can use z_Start3D.cmd or z_start3D_EpicGames.cmd to quick start games.

Thanks for the suggestions, Losti. I like to run new installed games once in 2D, without any mods, to make sure no installation issues exist. Ghostwire Tokyo would not run on my 3D Vision OS without forcing DX11 first (an override your incredible UE4 fix also performs).
By the way, I really like the flexibility you have added in UE4 Aim Convergence. It was very useful for adjusting bow aim in Ghostwire.

Just extract the attached script to the universal fix folder and run it, this changes color to default white font on black background. Archive is 7ZIP format.

Your Problem is not the fix, your problem is related to your system setup, so you did something wrong setting up your screen. 452.06 is working fine on windows 10 but you need the driver hack. Read the Installation part in the main post here, there is a lonk for a tool to install the driver if you dont do it right or dont know how to do.
For your questions what to select, just read the main menu part what the starting modes are for. Also this is written in the installation part of the main post. In 99 % of the games standard is the way you go if you dont have any issues. Same for crash prevention modes. Also for this there are parts written in the main post.
So basically, please do me a favor: READ

So I have now read most of it but still do not get anywhere. Somewhere I do something wrong but I can not find the error.
The driver 452.06 is installed. 3D is enabled. I start "00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config" and then I go step by step:
1. driver check with S
2. bringBack3DV is installed - Y
3. select the game with 1
4. confirmation with Y
5. update is installed.
6. start game with 0

It works now. I had to disable Nvidia 3D driver overlay on 3DFM.
But 3D Vision on the monitor does not look good. You can still select Side-by-Side 3D or Top/Bottom 3D. I'll have to test it on a projector to see if it looks better, but I think it should look better on the monitor. I have errors in the 3D image. With F12 I can select different modes but none of them looks good on the monitor. Is there a way to improve the 3D image?

Some information for you, if you want to use the UE4-UF2 with the geo11 driver, as well as any games released based on UF2 with my start stcipts:
1. do not copy the ShaderFixes folder from geo11 over!, skip this, as well as mentioned in the driver blog post, do not copy the d3dx.ini. Only copy the d3d11.dll/d3dcompiler_47.dll/d3dxdm.ini/nvapi64.dll from the x64 folder!
2. the config tool resets the dll files any time you start it, so after copy geo11 driver to the game/uf2, please ALSO copy those files (d3d11.dll/nvapi64.dll) to the subdirectory: ..\ShaderFixes\ResetFix
1. do not copy the ShaderFixes folder from geo11 over!, skip this, as well as mentioned in the driver blog post, do not copy the d3dx.ini. Only copy the d3d11.dll/d3dcompiler_47.dll/d3dxdm.ini/nvapi64.dll from the x64 folder!

Hi Losti, please tell me more details about the ShaderFixes folder, and why it should not be copied from geo-11 zip folder?
If we need to update those files we can do that on geo-11 builds so that it is easier for people with fewer details to need to remember. As far as I know at the moment there should be no difference between a 1.3.16 3Dmigoto ShaderFixes folder, and the geo-11 version, but have not looked closely.

Because of the depth adjusted mouse courser, in the mouse.hlsl overwriting the mouse.hlsl will cause mouse screen depth. Thanks Losti. This UE4 Universal fix is absolutely fantastic and opens up so many games for 3D. One issue I came across when trying to move to my 3080 machine is that the scripts will complain that my driver is not compatible with 3d and will abort. Obviously with the new geo-11 driver, we don't even need 3DVision installed let alone having a 4xx driver. Will it be possible to skip these checks in the future. Apologies if this is already catered for or I missed something obvious in my excitement to 3D on my 3080.

Hi Losti. I've been having issues with the latest version not finding the paths to do the automatic aa/ao fixes when running the config file. It worked properly on previous versions. Other than that I love the New Geo-11 implementation so thanks very much for all your work.

So with this new updated UE4 Universal fix for Geo 11 I have more games working succesfully for sure, using DX9 path, in fact basically the only UE4 games I have that I haven't gotten working properly are ones that used a different fix or are based off of older versions of the UF. Working: DBZ: Kakarot, Soul Calibur 6, Tekken 7, Sifu, It Takes Two, Kingdom Hearts 3, Golf It! (This one kept giving me errors when trying to configure from scratch like normally, I had to copy a configured fix from another game to make it work)

The game Seven - Days Long Gone does not trigger 3D in Geo-11. It works perfect with 9.02, but when I add geo-11 on top of it, 3D is gone. Same with 9.03.

Interesting, you're right. There're a couple of ways of enabling DX11 in UE4 games in UF2, but try running 00_UE4-UniversalFix-2_Config.cmd, select crash-prevention option 5 and then option 4 (fix DXGI error). Alternatively, you can try running 0StartGameVia3D-MigotoLoader.cmd, too or even adding -dx11 flag to launch properties in Steam. Let us know if you have the game.

Note that minimum DX listed is DX12 for Gears Tactics, although Stray works great with this fix, and Stray's minimum DX listed is also DX12.

Yeah, I was actually curious and downloaded it myself to try, but this is some customized UE4 game (if, in fact, it really is UE4, cause the file structure is different) that won't run in DX11. So I refunded it.

Neither -dx11 flag in steam helped nor 3dmigoto launcher or uf2 fix, so maybe there's another way but needs someone more knowledgeable to figure it out.
