Hitman Trilogy - Fix compatibility

I am getting a little bit confused about the Hitman Trilogy with all its updates, Year XX DLCs,graphics-related updates. Initially, I wanted to play the whole trilogy in PCVR but since the PCVR version turned out to be pretty disappointing - at least at this point - maybe I could start the trilogy in 3D Vision and then later continue in PCVR in case they update the PCVR experience in a satisfying way.

Now here's the problem: afaik the fixes were made for the initial releases of Hitman I and Hitman II (Hitman 3 is DX12 only, so no 3D Vision here, right!?) Since they upgraded the graphics for Hitman I/II when Hitman III was released, I wonder if the Hitman fixes for Hitman I/Hitman II on helix-blog still work and if they are fully compatible with every version of these games (base game, GOTY editions, Trilogy edition which contains Hitman I/II/III). Also, does it matter if I opt for the Epic Games version or the Steam version?
