Here's a WIP I have for this game. Have only put 30 minutes into playing this, but looks pretty good so far.
In order to get 3D to kick in you must do 2 things:
1) Set "-window-mode exclusive" in the game's launch options
2) When the game loads press Alt+Enter twice

Sadly this game rarely, if ever, goes on sale on Steam. I had this wishlisted for around a year waiting for a sale that never came. Recently it went up for sale on cdkeys dot com and a decent enough discount, which prompted me to finally buy. I saw they still had it on sale as of yesterday, so might be worth taking a gander over there.
