SOTTR and dx12... is it possible?

Post by b4thman »

Hello. I just want to know if it is possible to play Shadow of the Tomb RAider (I have installed again) and play with Directx 12. I can play with directx 11 but not enough smooth, and I have curiosity if with dx12 works better.

I am using 3DFM to just click the "play 3D" button (no 3D wrapper installed, anyways if I try to install0 I have an error). The game launches without crashing, but I get only 1 picture (even though the shuttering is working because of the 3D picture launched at start). In the graphic options menu I can not move the 3D sliders, and ctrl+F3/F4 (and convergence shorcuts) do nothing.

Maybe it is impossible with my current 452.06 driver installed, or maybe it is because my winver 20H2 (19042.1237)
Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 2080 (no TI), 32 Gb RAM, Windows 21H1, Monitor Dell S2716DG, Nvidia 425.31 driver

There's an existing thread, just use the forum search function
viewtopic.php?f=181&t=23410&hilit=Shado ... omb+Raider

Though it doesn't help that TimFx7 made Shadow of the Tomb raider all one word :(
