I just launched a few Steam games with NV3D no issue. Not sure if related to what you're seeing, but after a windows update a few weeks ago, when I launch NV3D from either the fix manager or via NV driver panel. Mixed reality launches and won't stay closed as long as my G2 is plugged in and the NV3D driver is active. To play in NV3D now, I need to simply unplug my Reverb G2 usb c cable.

I used sledgehammer after that update. The reason I let it update is because I got a warning that 1909 was no longer supported after May 11 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecy ... -servicing
I'm wondering if it's something to do with Steam no longer supporting 1909. Glad you have it sorted for now
