Enhanced with hand recolored gameplay and remastered textures, replay your favorite Telltale Batman

Just like Walking Dead comic book look, I don't recommend it since it's very high contrast and, at least for me, gives a lot of ghosting compared to normal modes, which are mostly fine.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know a way to remove the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen? I found a mod but it includes conflicting DLL libraries that have same names as the 3dmigoto libs, so they can't co-exist.

thx

The bars can be removed relatively easily by texture filtering (with 3Dmigoto).

Ok...I guess time to learn some 3dmigoto...so on a high level, the way I understand it, I have to somehow catch the shader that draws these, figure out the portion of the code that draws these textures in the shader and remove it?

I basically have no shader hacking experience, but I believe that setting it to be skipped, is the preferred/easier method.

It's also possible to bind it to a key, so the effect can be toggled on or off, depending on an individuals preference.

Perhaps try starting here

I expanded on bo3b's WIP for this game.
WIP: https://s3.amazonaws.com/4everAwake/WIP ... Series.zip

What this does:
Fixes various HUD and UI elements with too much depth and places them closer to the screen. (The depth can be changed in the d3dx.ini)
Fixes cartoon outlines and character flickering
Adds the ability to remove the black bars from the top and bottom of the screen

Keybinds:
X - toggles letterbox bars on or off (on by default)

Known issues:
- Some light clipping
- TV screens are 3D

I've only halfway through the first chapter. So there might be other issues.

Awesome, thanks for looking at this.

I had too much ghosting as well, on my old display. But will play it on my projector.

Wow, I hadn't read a Walking Dead comic in quite awhile, and was surprised to find it has ended. My brother had a Skybound account and let me read them.

PSA: If anyone has an Amazon Prime sub, you can grab Batman Telltale Series with Amazon Games for free, just download the windows app here ( https://www.amazongames.com/es-es/suppo ... -games-app ). Tons of free games monthly, not on EGS level but still pretty nice.

Also if you're interested in graphic adventures, Blacksad is included in a fanatical bundle for 3.99 euro and has a fix on Helixmod: https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/killer-bundle-17 It includes Tower of Time which has a 3d fix too.
