Update: I tried DHR's universal fix. I can't get any one of his versions to engage properly - I think this might be a newer unity version than what DHR's fix supports.

I'm not sure if I want to spend a long time with this game - I'm not a fan of hording and inventory management mechanics. If others are interested, I might look into disabling some of the bigger broken shaders.

Well the game looks interesting and reviews are fantastic, but if you're not that interested in the game don't worry about it.
