Win 7 64 build here, prefer to stay on it until the year 2035. Currently have an Asus Strix 970 4gb VRAM in there and usually only play at 720p since my tv monitor is about 15 feet away. I'm considering upgrading the video card and looking for some recommendations to keep 3D compatibility and not have to update to Win 10.
Have been looking at the 1660 Ti, for some reason it's cheaper right now than my current 970. I never aim for the $600+ video cards since I push everything at 720p.
Recommendations, advice, personal experiences?
Thank you in advance!

1660 ti is slightly better than a 980 ti,but much more power efficient. It will be overkill for 720p. Do you think going from a 970 to a 980 ti performance wise would be worth it?
