MTBS Going Dedicated! New iZ3D Profile Add-on!

Post by PressBot »

Hello everyone!

Some good news for you all. For those of you frustrated by MTBS going down regularly because of us hitting our traffic limitations, you will be pleased to know that we are moving to a dedicated hosting platform.

Sharky has already turned off the ability to upload to the MTBS Gallery so we can begin the transition, and we will keep you up to date on our progress. This dedicated hosting means we can add a lot of exciting features to the site we couldn’t before, and we will fill you in once things are ready.

During this transition, we will try to avoid as much down time as possible and will keep you posted.

In the meantime, iZ3D LLC has released an updated profile add-on for the 1.07 iZ3D driver. This profile must be uncompressed in the main iZ3D driver directory, and fixes anomalies in Silent Hunter III and Word of Warcraft. It also increases the FPS performance in Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons.

Just to add, here is a clip[/b] from the Game Developers Conference. Toward the end, there is a snippet of Ethan Schur, Director of Marketing for TDVision Corp. It was cool to see Intel and TDVision exhibiting in the same booth space, and I think it is fair to say that the big guys are paying close attention to the S-3D industry and care about how it will unfold.
