Nvidia Talks 3DTV Play at 3D Entertainment Summit

No, this is NOT the Panasonic 3D HDTV prize that's up for grabs with The U-Decide Initiative!  I'm afraid the grand prize winner will have to settle for a slightly smaller 50" unit, rather than the 150" plasma shown here.  C'est la vie!

However, Nvidia fans can rejoice as Andrew Fear, Product Manager for Nvidia's GeForce 3D Vision has joined us to talk about their 3DTV Play software.

Regarding 3DTV Play I always hear 720p@60Hz is for gaming and 1020p@24Hz is for Bluray.
Does that mean it is not possible to play games in the 1020p@24Hz resolution?
24Hz may be sufficient for some games and the additional resolution may be welcome especially for games that don't support AA (natively or forced).

Choice is always good.
Being forced to use only manufacturer specified settings is not part of the PC usage philosophy. It's maybe for Macs but not PC.

ghosting = unacceptable

fullHD tv's with 720p 3d , and unacceptable response time (lag) for gaming = joke
