Regarding 3DTV Play I always hear 720p@60Hz is for gaming and 1020p@24Hz is for Bluray.
Does that mean it is not possible to play games in the 1020p@24Hz resolution?
24Hz may be sufficient for some games and the additional resolution may be welcome especially for games that don't support AA (natively or forced).

Choice is always good.
Being forced to use only manufacturer specified settings is not part of the PC usage philosophy. It's maybe for Macs but not PC.

i got the chance top read 3D tv reviews in cnet.com and yes, panasonic was their first bet.. they have a lot of good reasons to rate the entry pretty well.

fullHD tv's with 720p 3d , and unacceptable response time (lag) for gaming = joke
