This interview turned out great!  Nick Brown was the Supervising Stereographer for Blade Runner 2049 3D and is a stereographer at Stereo D.  In this interview from Immersed 2017, he talks about how they made the 2D/3D conversion happen and some of the unique techniques they used that weren't available before.  Very interesting!
