I've started using the FreePIE IMU android app on my nexus 4 along with opentrack for headtracking in Elite. It works great, until it stops working.
I have wake lock running at partial lock to keep the CPU running. After a random amount of time - ten minutes or so - the head tracking in game stops responding. If I go back to the app it says 'on' but if I hit the on button android says the app has stopped responding and needs to be closed.
Anyone seen this or know how I could debug it or any alternatives? I saw there's a 'wireless IMU' app but that didn't seem to work with opentrack.

Re: FreePIE IMU stops working (Nexus 4)
Thanks for the response. Does the fact you sent a link to a git pull suggest there's an early version to test?
I'd be happy to try and early version. The only alternative I have at the moment is using an EDTracker, but it suffers from terrible drift that seems to vary with temperature, so I can't even set up a bias for it.
BTW does FreePIE IMU combine the magnetic field data with the gyro data to combat sensor drift?
