Somehow this is not as exciting with all the other stuff going on, but still could be useful.

I'm pretty excited about it. It's not perfect but Kinect is still the most versatile VR input device around.

And you didn't must wear anything like Gloves or other Sensors on the Body.

I think when you use VR when you sit, Kinect2 should work perfect for this. When you stay and rotate to any Direction than one Kinect2 is not enough and than it would be more complicated.

Only Question is how big the Latency on the PC Version is and how much PC Power it needs.
