It would have to be a massive complex world...ESO isnt doing as well as everyone hoped...and WOW is getting old.
There needs to be a new genre of MMO...maybe something techno punk\blade runnerish....Techno lust on a massive scale would be cool but it would have be single player only part to be effective...many people are still too turned off and the mechanics of MMOs...

That Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe seems to be a good salesman.

He likes to put himself between a good idea and a dollar.

It amazes me how he kept his job after the Facebook aquisition.

Usually when a CEO screws the takeover company for every dollar they can get, the takeover company returns the favour by sacking them. Talk about eating your cake.

VR, now is in the beginning of a new paradigm. I'm sure he knows it.

Facebook has to buy a mapping company to make this happen.
It would be cool to merge VR and AR, so usage will be much higher.
Friends nearby will be moving bots (when not in VR). And they can jump in through AR.
