Skyrim and Perception 2.0.0.1 issues

Post by aristogeiton »

Well, it looks like the indoor shadows are fixed, however:

1) Unlike before, just running Perception.exe is not enough (running TESV.exe directly gives me the 'Procedure entry point' missing error); and
2) when I put the relevant .dll files into the Skyrim directory, the world scale (convergence?) is completely off.

More information: not changing the fov to 90 improves the situation. Strangely, when playing the amount of my arms visible seemed to change after I fast-travelled (that is to say, my FOV seemed smaller). Any idea about that? Changing the fov does not seem to actually change the fov, and just seems to mess up the world scale.

Are you running any mods, SKSE, anything?

Something is off. The biggest change to the software was the shader profile so the other behaviors shouldn't be affected.

Follow these steps:

1. Delete the entire perception directory. The whole driver - delete it.
2. Run Skyrim at 1280X800X60Hz in 2D. Is it looking the way it should?
3. Reinstall Perception fresh from the download. Run and run Skyrim
4. Remember that FOV is adjusted from Skyrim's console. I've read that changing FOV in the config file isn't as effective.

Neil
