Devil may cry 3 special edition - works but lags in 3d :(

Got this game to work in 3d... but when i turn the 3d on it slows down to a crawl.... im able to run the game normaly at perfect speed and everything so i duno what the problem is. This game has no display options other than changing the resolution so, i cant really change anything else any ideas?
