Decades on from its inception, virtual reality may finally be ready to make a breakthrough in the home gaming market.
It was certainly the technology that everyone wanted to try at the Eurogamer Expo in London's Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset that presents video or computer graphics in 3D.
It's always been the dream of game developers to create virtual reality but previous attempts in the late eighties and nineties failed.
