Hey guys I just found out some guy called Chris Gallizzi is currently working on adding Oculus Rift support to a N64 emulator.
He also is adding head tracking to some games like Golden Eye and Pokemon Snap.
He said he is aiming to release the emulator at the end of this Summer, but he is going to release a early build sometime before July.
He released already two video of his work over the last few days, you can take a look at them below.

Oh yessss, I'mma snap me some pokemans with mah face!
What could be better for a VR headset that lets you sit back in your chair and look around, than a game wherein the entire point is that you're sitting in a (moving) chair and can look around?

Re: N64 Emulator For Oculus Rift in the Works
There are some really great games on the n64 that would be great on the Rift.. Very happy to see people still interested in stuff like this
Coincidentially recently I've been fiddling about with n64 stuff too, managed to get maps from the n64 (albeit very buggy, but only tried a couple of times so far) working in UDK
007 Golden Eye
So I was thinking of - as a long term personal project - improving the textures and models of some maps from Banjo Kazooie, and seeing how well third person VR works with it, so this will be a great way to test how well it works!

It works very well, try playing Star Wars Jedi Academy on the Oculus Rift , it is a third person game which has been modded by someone on this forum to work with the Rift.Dr.Minky wrote:and seeing how well third person VR works with it
