Wow the preview pictures look realy professional... I'm DL-ing, too
er... are thes 'clips' about 1gb each
I hope my PC can play them more or less fluently
And that my HDD has enough space for all of them...
Good quality S-3D movies (clips) for free are rare these days, so It's great to have some more to demo to guests

This clips are "optimized" to play on "ordinary" computer: 2000x500 pix, 10-15 fps, bitrate about 3-4 MBytes/sec, codec Intel Indeo 4.5 is enought fast and has good quality of picture. "Original" clips (3072x768 pix, 15 fps, bitrate 8-15 MBytes/sec) I playing on computer witn MATROX Parhelia (3 head) or nVIDIA Quadro FX 3500 + MATROX TripleHead2Go witn hardware stereo (QuadBuffered OpenGL) and 3 projectors BenQ (total resolution 3072x768, 85Hz in stereo). Quality of stereoeffect on this cards is much better than on "consumer" cards like GF 7600/8600/8800 with software stereo (nVIDIA stereodriver).

Wow a moment... you said the workstation cards DO have an advantage?
I thought they were just heavyly overpriced reproducts
Why is the quality better on workstation cards? Better rendering? More power? Or 'just' because they can use Quadbuffered?
EDIT:
Just saw the first two movies and the quality is outstanding. Maybe even too high to store them for a long time...
I mean why do you need 1gb for 5 minutes? Shouldn't 200mb for 5 minutes be enough?

Thanks for the vids
They do still need a hell of a lot of work but not a bad start - seems like the camerawork is pretty much in place but all the models need animating and effects /action added otherwise its all a bit 'static'. Some of the IMAX vids are a good reference for tips!
Are you going to post the final versions later or is this as much as you are going to do?
Thanks again

You are quite right, "clips" are not "final releases" but only "exercises" (in animation also). This "stereomovies" i make for "attractions of virtual reality" with 2-3-4-... panoramic screens (size 1x4 meter and bigger), it's not very interestingly to look this "multiscreen" movies on ONE screen. Maybe in future i will make "onescreen" version of this "multiscreen" video but now i have not the time (and the wish ) for this job.

Had a chance to watch all but rivers (have to re-download it, didnt get the entire file).
Looking good. As said earlier they are good starting point. Just needs some touching up.
I liked Asteroids the best, the one with the Star Trek looking ship. Nice smooth 3d with no noticable anomalies (only watched it twice, didn't notice any).
One thing that did stick out was that the sea creature's head wasn't properly done on the Underwater clip. When watching it, I saw 2 heads on about 90% of the shots. The body was fine, but the head was separated way too much. Looked like a 2 headed monster.
