High-Res Mars Photographs are Absolutely Stunning
I was just blown away by these high-resolution images taken from Pheonix lander, what do you think?
You really get sense of what it's like. But there's 17 in total so hit the link below for them all. http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/0 ... skies.html

Errrr....
To get a turn to S-3D:
I think there was some (older?) project to send two satteliets out to make S3D pictures (of planets and so on). Maybe it's a good Idea to find them and link to them?
Just thought it might fit to the topic and the forum

Yeah, I remember those pictures were really cool. From a few years back. There are some anaglyph panoramics here:LukePC1 wrote:I think there was some (older?) project to send two satteliets out to make S3D pictures (of planets and so on).

Here is a site I found with tons of recent anaglyphs and stereo pairs:

Sorry about the Total Recall reference, but this is the "Off-Topic Discussion". I was trying to keep it fun.

The animated GIF pictures give a sense of how barren the planet is. when you think of the distance is it just me that the pictures are such a high-quality seems impressive ?Freke1 wrote:Awesome. I read/saw today they found ice on Mars. The white stuff melts when exposed to the atmosphere:
