Ok just tested again and the print screen function works again.
But i still can't make fraps to work like with version 1.07, maybe there's some trick, will try to reinstall fraps to see if there is a hook priority or something ?

So about Racedriver GRID demo, the game is very playable and enjoyable in 3D, but i found a few bugs that i cought on screenshot.

The 1st bug is with shadows : in high quality mode there are 2 types of shadows,
the 1st one is projected accordingly to the sun's position : in 3d it's offset both for cars and world geometry
the 2nd one is projected vertically from the car on the ground, in 3d it only appears on one eye, and depending on the angle of the camera, it produces some artifacts, usually not visible ingame but visible in cutscenes.

i just noticed that other cars on the radar are drawn in 2d while the road on the radar is drawn in 3d.

Mirrors look wrong, i can't really determine what (it just gives me headaches) maybe the images are swapped ?

and finally, side mirror reflections have a wrong position.

and let's end with a good surprise, if you look back at the interior screenshots just above. according to my convergence settings the pilot should pop out dramatically since he is very very close to the camera.
But for some reason he doesn't ! he is drawn at a good depth, Autofocus was off. I don't know why this happens.

It's better if you could upload your images to the MTBS gallery. This way your posts can stand the tests of time.

i keep trying to make fraps work, not successfuly...
I even reinstalled 1.07.
in 1.07 it works perfect when i add Fraps.exe to the disable driver list...
so you must have changed something in the way the hook behaves that makes iz3d ignore fraps.

while trying, i found a bug with izd3 service.
i shut down iz3d via the task manager and then tried to run the control pannel.
iz3d control pannel wasn't able to restart the service and asked me to restart the computer (or reinstall iz3d).

Then i went to windows control pannel and restarted the iz3d service manually and it worked again.
finally i switched the iz3d service startup to "manual", the control pannel wasn't able to start the service when needed.

UT3 and Oblivion IV not starting with 0034 and 0036 betas

With the 1.07.0027 beta, dual projector mode, both of these games worked fine. Now, with the 0034 and 0036 betas, they don't even load. When I run them, they execute for a few seconds. The right monitor looks like it's trying to switch modes (turnes black for a second), then the desktop comes back, and the games fail to load.

UT3 has the 1.2 patch, Oblivion has the 1.2.0416 patch. Uninstalling and resintalling the drivers doesn't help, neither does rebooting the system. Stereo is enabled by hotkey. If I disable stereo completely, then these games run fine.

My system:
8800GTX (FW 169.21) Also tried FW 175.16, same results.
Core 2 duo, 3.2GHz
2GB RAM
XP SP2

Need for Speed Pro Street works fine with all the betas I've tried - 0027, 0034, 0036.

On a side note - for a while with the 0034 beta I had problems with dual projector mode being locked - not activated. Then I installed the 0036 beta, tested it, uninstalled it, and installed the 0034 beta, and dual projector mode now works with the 0034 beta.

UT3 works fine for me in anaglyph mode so it must be a dual projector mode issue.

This is not bug, you shouldn't kill iz3d service. Just disable stereo in control center.

Most of the things you mentined are the same with the precessor (DTM racedriver 3), too. The shadows seem to be placed wrong and should be disabled. Mirrors were in 2D and motion blurr was not in it - or I disabled it.

I noticed the funny hud with the mix of 2D and 3D objects on the older game, too. Blame the developers ;-)

My tests were on NV 94.24 Combo (with GF7). I just wanted to tell you, that NV doesn't do any better - even on older games. Afaik Grid does not work at all with that driver...

However the series is nice to play and I like the damage and driving engine.
If you turn off all disturbing effects - which is hopefully possible - it should be a lot of fun.

GRID works on the 174.76 nv driver. Although you have to tweak it a bunch, theres no official profile.

Here, this time i tried Audiosurf :

Audiosurf is a tetris-like game where the pace and pattern of falling blocks are driven by the background music. the more intense the music gets and the more blocks fall on your grid.
It's made by one single guy, the game is only sold on steam for 10$.
there are lots of gameplay videos throughout the web, just search "audiosurf" on youtube and you'll find many gameplay videos.

note : i play in anaglyph, so i made huge changes to the game colours so that the game is playable in anaglyph.

bugs found : mainly the interface. Most parts of the interface are drawn at random depth.
Then there's this weird thin line that floats in front of the camera, just above the last row of the grid. It doesn't appear in mono but it's there for no reason in stereo.
and finally the post process effects (ghosts and trails behind some objects) also seem to be drawn at random depth. The rest of the game is fine.

Dylan Fitterer, the guy who made the game, reads the feedback he gets from his gaming community on audiosurf official forum. So i was thinking maybe we could ask him to make some of the necessary modifications to make the game more "stereo-compliant". But the problem is i don't know much about graphics engine, and i think he doesn't even uses his own engine but one called "questviewer".
What kind of technical changes should i ask him to make ?
