Quadro cards

Post by noos »

Hello,

I did receive a FX1500 quadro. Guess it does not have the Din 3 sync connector...

Are there any other benefits when using this card instead of my 7900GTX with the old school dirvers? I have heared from windowed 3d? Anything more to expect from quardos?
Alternatives than the oldschool drivers for this card?
3D Vison is for G71 not possible I think...

Thanks

If you just want it to play games, I don't think its going to get much better than the 7900GTX. I am not really familar with Quadro cards, but my understanding is that they are geared toward professional applications (CAD, etc.) and not gaming.

Hello,

yes, it is for games and it is more compliated than I thought.

The classic stereo 162.50 drivers are not good wit quadros under XP. The Quadro diver has an own stereo support: http://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3407" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It looks like with the right quadro card, you can use legally 3d Vison und XP!!!

I also have a NVS 295 quadro.

Probabaly Quadro is good for Open GL gaming?

I will update my findings
