Would this be possible? 3D movies on PS3/Xbox

So now that we have Invincible Tiger in S-3D on Xbox and PS3, is there any reason why someone couldn't develop a downloadable app/game that would emulate a stereoscopic movie player, like Peter Wimmer's? I know its not possible with Blu-ray till they decide on a format. But regular interlaced 3D dvd's shouldn't be that big a problem.
Any thoughts? |

Technically theres nothing stopping them from doing something like that. Its really just about whether a developer wants to do it and if Microsoft/Sony would be willing to greenlight the project.
