BSkyB invests $400,000 in VR firm Jaunt

UK pay-tv firm BSkyB has made a second cash injection into Jaunt, a Silicon Valley start-up founded in 2013, which specializes in VR technology.
The US$400,000 provided by Sky follows an initial investment of $350,000, which the company made last December. Palo Alto-based Jaunt creates hardware, software and content for virtual reality devices such as the Oculus Rift headset.

It doesn't surprise me that the Majors are getting in on virtual reality.
Just think of the next virtual reality killer application.
Just like google and word search, virtual reality will be about eye search.
The virtual reality content could be interactive based on eye and gaze tracking. Opinion makers like Murdoch, could influence all kinds of profitable behaviours such shopping, voting or lobbying decisions by targeted visual feedback.
Spooky.
