Hi all,
finally this morning I had the 7950.
I uninstall the old (newer) driver (with Driver Cleaner).
Installed the 162.50 (and stereo too)
but I'm not seeing the stereo options inside the nvidia control panel!

I've tried to run a game (half life 2) to test it with emargin, but it runs in 2D.

I'm getting crazy... I miss something?

By default only the new NVIDIA panel is shown, not the old NVIDIA panel with stereoscopic settings. Have a look here to activate it :

I've tweaked the registry keys but still not able to see the stereo options
and still no way to try the stereo other than force it.

It's probably because you've some files from previous version of the drivers conflicting with the new ones. Try to properly uninstall all of them in the Windows control panel then reinstall the 162.50 driver, reboot, and install the 162.50 stereo driver and reboot. Then you can try again the registry modifications and reboot (yes, again). I had to do this last time when I installed these drivers, they are very picky about their environment.

Effectively I found something inside the in control panel (even if I used the uninstaller from the device manager and Driver Cleaner)...
So I did again all the steps you suggested... but I'm still unable to see the stereo options.
Another funny thing is that even if I have the OS in English and I downloaded english drivers the nvidia control panel is in Italian (and only this, because the other info are in english) :-O

Do you at least see the old control panel instead of the new one ?

At the end I was able to see that panel... but to run it in stereo I have in any case to force it with labtools.
But at the end the stereo is arrived!
