Grand Theft Auto V is a disaster.

Post by mkultra333 »

Just got GTA V, which is supposed to have native 3D Vision support. Unfortunately it is badly broken. It'll play fine for 10-15 minutes, and then it'll start failing. Shadows will break, 3D will flicker on and off, and finally it will just fail, either crashing or being a messed up 2D version.

Maybe it's just a busted driver, I'm updated to the 350.12, which is supposed to be optimized for GTA V. It's pretty useless.

And just to show it's not just me, check the GeForce forum, https://forums.geforce.com/default/topi ... n-here-/6/

I tried the suggestion of changing to the Max Payne 3 profile but it didn't help me.

Hopefully this will get fixed, because in the moments when it does work it looks excellent.

Sounds like a driver Bug and not a game bug.
Has it been fixed yet?

If not: I had similar problems with Warhammer Vermintide. In that game it helped to turn Fullscreen Off and On again to fix flickering (about once per second before).
