Any notable interchangeable lens cameras that take 2 pictures and make an mpo file?

I've read and heard of various attempts to create a dual DSLR lens from time to time, but I don't think anything really materialised.
You real and only option is the now aged Fuji W3 (actually quite good) or the very expensive route of dual DSLR's.
For the dual camera option you'd need a custom made mount, preferably with adjustable width for large and distant panorama's, and a synchronised shutter release, again that would need to be custom made.

With wi-fi cameras like the Canon 7D you could in theory sync the shutter from an old iphone.

3D photography is going to be by it's very nature, expensive. Fraught with many pitfalls and disasters, but if done right it can wield impressive results.

The only other alternative that I've read about is a GoPro Hero dual camera case.

£100 for the case and you still need both cameras.
My Setup:
AMD Bulldozer 8120, 16GB RAM, 4x 1+TB HDD + 512GB SSD
800W Gold corsair PSU, Corsair Hydro H80 Water cooling
NVIDIA GTX 750 married to Samsung UE48H6400 Smart 3D 48" LED TV

A quick demonstration of the Fuji Finepix W3

There is one more method, it's very unreliable but can work... the Cha cha!
Take any 2D camera, take a picture, move the camera 4-6cm to the right, take another picture.
Edit the two images to match up as best as you can and create an .mpo file with stereo photo maker
