hi! this is an easy one!


what you need?

a xbox controller,
a male usb adapter cable
Wire strippers
Electrical tape

-----

soldering iron

1) cut the Usb cable at least 10 cm from the MALE adaptor. (for who dont knows: the male usp adaptor is the one that is on every usb webcam, or on every usb stick. the FEMALE is the one that is inside of the computer. so the opposite one in wich the male goes in...) strip off 2.5 cm (1") of the external plastic in order to see the single cables. now strip off a bit of isolation from every cable.

2) take the xbox adaptor (the short part wich is connected between xbox and xbox-controller) and cut away the connector you put into the xbox. RIGHT AT THE END! cut away ONLY the adapter! you need teh cable!
nwo do the same you did with the usb cable. remove teh isolation of every cable.

3) the colors should match with the ones you have inside the usb cable. so solder them togheder according with the colors, and then isolate them with the electrical tape.


download this: Drivers
install,

once the drivers are installed, plug in the controller and it should detect and install the drivers for "XBCD XBox Gamepad". Now go to Programs -> XBCD -> Setup Utility and set up your new gamepad!

thats all.. it takes only 10 minutes!
