Could we have a thread for some detailed pictures of HMD displays, as most of th expensive ones there is not alot of information about them, like some of the "Liquid Image" type HMDs with wide angle FOV. I was thinking in the future of building my own HMD and its helpful to see how they made the different types. I know some of you guys have bought different types over the years so if you want to you could post some pics.

I think this can be interesting to you. There is no single picture of the product new product, cyberfaceX, but they show the huge lenses and displays they are using for cyberface2. They are intended to achieve a really big FOV with a single lens and display per eye.

I abandoned the idea of a selfmade HMD long time ago. It's technically too advanced to built anything practical without high tech materials and machines. The only path is... money, big amounts of it.
