Minecraft is Now MircosoftCraft @ Whopping $2.5Billion

Post by Dilip »

In a dramatic turn of events, Microsoft has purchased 'Minecraft' for whopping $2.5Billion.
My first reaction was 'Is MS gone Nuts?'

Some articles stated 'FUNNILY Unbelievable' luring kids to Science Satya Nadella Theory,
C'mon I will not buy that.

Some came up with fears that will Microsoft Ruin it?

That remind me days of Markus Alexej "Notch" Persson's Storming rage on Oculus Facebook acquisition.
This also explains change in his point of view of recent 'Over Being Upset'

Now what will you say Mr.Markus selling your brain child to Giant Evil Corp 'Microsoft'?
History has bad habit of repeating it self and time walked full circle, boll is now in your court.

Thought he indeed made brake through by selling 'Game' that is not massive successful title (like DOTA/WoW) in 'Higher Price'($2.5Billion) then what Facebook paid for OVR ($2Billion).

Thats bloody freaking HALF BILLION DOLLARS MORE.

I would say Minecraft as 'IP' not biger than OVR as 'Innovative Inventor' and OVR is really a BONANZA DEAL grab by FACEBOOK.
though lets not forget Minecraft has Proven its reach and Oculus has still to, that's really a note worthy difference. still i would say Facebook indeed got super deal with OVR.

That said i am glad Microsoft has not purchased OVR, or OVR has not gone to Microsoft hence we are not going to witness 'Twisted XBOXING FATE' of amazing tech that's big relief.

What people here think?
Will this fuel or alienate 'OFFICIAL VR SUPPORT' from MINECRAFT?
